New York Food Diary | Bar Room at The Modern 🍔✨

I caught the tail end of Restaurant Week to snag a star ⭐️! (Technically, this is the casual dining option under a two-Michelin-star restaurant.) During Restaurant Week, there are two menu choices: a 3-course meal for $60 and a 2-course meal for $45. The detailed menu is available on their official website. 🌐 Another restaurant where the appetizers and desserts outshine the main courses! The first time I tried beef tartare with potatoes—it was incredibly aromatic! Highly recommended!! 🍔 The tomato toast was also very unique! For those with smaller appetites, these two dishes are already quite filling... not to mention the pre-meal bread... The pasta and pork belly were decent (a bit underwhelming compared to the appetizers, feeling somewhat average), but the Earl Grey mini-cake was truly amazing! It was a great palate cleanser. 🍰 The official website shows that Restaurant Week ends on the 31st! Friends who are interested should hurry and make a reservation! Remember to book the Bar Room, not the Dining Room (The Modern)! 😄 Previously, a friend mistakenly booked the Dining Room and ended up with an $180 tasting menu [giggles], but it was still pretty delicious! 🍽️ 📌 The Bar Room at The Modern #NewYorkFood #NewYorkRestaurantWeek 🌆🌟
