I’ve been to this Turkish restaurant twice in a month! But I still haven’t tried the lamb shank recommended by xhs! I’m making a promise to myself that I have to try their lamb shank next time! 1️⃣ Slow Cooked Short Rib Pide: It’s a pizza with an eggplant spread and cheese! The short rib on top is tender and so flavorful. 🍕 2️⃣ 3 Cheese Pide: A cheese lover’s dream! This calorie bomb is super delicious! Highly recommended! The crust is crispy, just like the short rib pide, and it has a sweet-salty flavor. 🍖 3️⃣ Karides Guvec: Stewed shrimp in a casserole with little bread! Dipping the bread in the sauce and eating it with shrimp and mushrooms is super fragrant! Best enjoyed hot! 🦐 4️⃣ Eriste: Since they didn’t have lamb shank, I asked the waiter to recommend a dish with lamb! It was a bit of a miss. It’s Turkish hand-cut pasta with yogurt sauce. The lamb cubes on top are pretty tasty, but the yogurt sauce is really sour. This dish has a unique flavor. 🍖 5️⃣ Pistachio Mud Heaven: This one was just okay. The ice cream is delicious though. 🍦 6️⃣ Marash Dondurma: The legendary white rabbit candy-flavored ice cream! The texture is really unique! I loved it! 🍦 Summary: This restaurant really surprised me! I didn’t have many disappointments. The atmosphere is also quite nice. There’s a pretty outdoor garden seating area at the back of the restaurant! Next time, I’ll try to sit outside! 🌺 📍 108 W 74th St, New York, NY 10023 #NewYorkFood #ManhattanEats 🍖🌟
