New York food diary--Bombay Bistros

—————— 🔆Restaurant Name: Bombay Bistros Bombay Lamb Biryani This rice dish is incredibly fragrant! As soon as it's served, the aroma fills your nostrils. The rice is Indian fragrant rice mixed with saffron, topped with a layer of soft naan bread. A piece of lamb, dipped in a bit of sour cream, pairs wonderfully with the naan and chips. 👍🏼 Cocktails 🍹 I absolutely adore their Elderflower Cocktail. I've always been fond of elderflower beer back home. The strong elderflower scent creates a delightful combination with lemon juice and soda. The other drink, Bombay ‘Punch’, is somewhat similar to a Long Island Iced Tea, but it doesn't quite match the first one in terms of wow factor. 'Madras-Mail' Railway Chicken Curry 🍛 We ordered this as part of the Prix-Fixe menu, which includes a choice of a drink and a side. 🍛: The curry sauce is infused with mustard seeds and curry leaves, giving it a slight spicy kick that's perfect for pairing with rice or bread. 🥘: Daal Makhni - Lentil Sauce. This is truly amazing. It's creamy with a hint of spicy and it's a must-try when paired with naan. Tamarind Cauliflower 🥦 This dish has a very strong flavor, it's sour and salty, which might not be to everyone's taste. —————— 🔆Bombay Bistros 📍31 Cornelia St, New York, NY 10014 #New York# food diary#Bombay Bistros
