New York Food Fails ๐ฃ
I had the chance to work remotely in New York for a while this fall. New York is still New York, but I definitely felt like the restaurants have taken a step back compared to a few years ago. ๐ฎ ๐จ Here are my "fail" records (purely personal experiences): Uzuki - $40 soba that tastes like itโs worth $4. Totally unremarkable, and surprisingly, the chef has even been on YouTube. ๐ Ahgassi Gopchang - The intestines were not handled well. ๐ Brooklynโs Xiang Tian Xia - "Premium all-you-can-eat" with subpar and unhygienic ingredients. The seafood looked rubbery, and I spent the whole meal worrying about food poisoning. ๐ค Charles - Another case of hype. Waited in line for a full hour at 3 PM. Itโs just an average steakhouse. ๐ Four Horseman - Again, all the hype but no substance. Ordered almost the entire menu, and not a single dish was memorable. It felt like a random assortment of ingredients. The worst part? The panna cotta tasted like pencil shavings. ๐ต #NYCEats #NYCFails ๐ฝ๏ธ๐
