New York Foodie Diary 🌟
We had two meals in a row—my parents really have a Chinese palate! They even asked the waiter if there are branches in China. Maybe it’s because it’s been too long since we had Chinese food, but we really savored every bite. Stone Pot Green Pepper Fish 🐟 $36 The fish is a type of grass carp, which is very flavorful and spicy. It’s a delicious fish dish that’s full of taste. 😋 Spicy Double Pepper Tripe $24 I love offal so much! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water again. 🍖 🫑 Sichuan Spicy Chicken $20 A classic dish that always pairs well with rice. 🍚 Hot and Sour Soup $16 It’s not too sour, and the spiciness and sourness are just right. It’s not too overpowering. 🥢 Dried Meat $14 One portion is enough for one person. This is my must-order dish every time. The dipping sauce is perfectly seasoned.🥹 🫑 Spicy Braised Pork Intestines $25 I ordered this for my dad, but he thought it was just okay. 🍖 Spicy Rabbit $26 The rabbit is tender, but it’s not very impressive. 🐰 🫑 Spicy Grassland Tripe $14 Don’t order this. I was craving tripe, but after one bite, I regretted it. 😔 In this round,Mom’s pick was the Spicy Chicken, and Dad’s pick was the Stone Pot Green Pepper Fish. 📍Mountain House Times Square 23 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10003, United States #NewYorkCuisine #NewYorkFoodGuide 🌃🍴
