New York | Four Big Coconuts Coconut Chicken Hotpot
For a light and healthy hotpot experience in spring and summer, coconut chicken is the way to go! I found a great place in Flushing for this delicacy, and it's not just about the chicken. The preserved meat clay pot rice is surprisingly amazing too. 🥥 We opted for their signature Water Chestnut and Bamboo Pith Coconut Chicken - the broth is incredibly genuine, made from the water of four whole coconuts without any additional seasonings. Once the chicken is cooked in it, the pot is incredibly fresh and sweet! I couldn't stop raving about the soup. The chicken is prepared very tenderly, and with their secret sauce, it's utterly satisfying! 🥥 Besides the chicken, the quality of the other hotpot ingredients is also excellent! Particularly the oyster mushrooms stuffed with fish paste, the aroma of the mushrooms complements the freshness of the fish paste perfectly. The beef selections are also quite good. 🥥 As a coconut chicken restaurant, their preserved meat clay pot rice is exceptionally well-made! It rivals many Cantonese restaurants' versions - the crispy rice at the bottom mixed with the sausage and sauce is just too fragrant! #LocalFavorites #CoconutChickenHotpot #AtmosphereRestaurantGuide #NewYork #NewYorkLife #AmbientRestaurant #Bar #NewYorkStudyAbroad #NewYorkFood
