New York hides a gem of a restaurant
Konban, right in the heart of the city 🍃 Some say it’s an izakaya 🏮 But it’s more of a fusion of Japanese and Korean creative cuisine You have to walk through a small entrance to find the real door; the restaurant’s ambiance is more Japanese, but it seems like many of the staff speak Korean The first dish, uni seaweed rice, is delicious 🍣 The real stunner, though, is the second dish 🌽 Let’s taste if it reminds you of a snack - the fried pork chop 🥩 is crispy, and they also provide truffle sauce to dip it in 😋 The pork butter 🧈 noodles are also satisfying and fill you up. The dessert 🍮 with corn 🌽 is full of corn flavor Overall, every dish is a hit!! Sweet potato fans 🍠 can go for it 🐛 The food here is the kind that doesn’t make you feel too full, but every dish is so good and not greasy! #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #NewYorkFoodRecommendations #NewYorkFood #Food #FoodDiary #FoodReview #RestaurantExploration #CheckIn #NewYorkJapaneseFood #NewYorkKoreanFood #izakaya
