New York HYDERABADI ZAIQA ๐
๐ฐ This place is super affordable! Each dish is around $10-$15, and the portions are pretty generous. Three of us ate for just $75 and even packed home almost the entire complimentary serving. ๐ฅก Appetizers ๐ฅฃ Aloo Papdi: Highly recommended! The combination of potatoes with crackers is surprisingly delicious. Both my northern friend and Leo tried it for the first time and thought it was magical. As a southerner who grew up eating a lot of Indian food, I'd say it's as popular as cucumber salad or chicken feet. ๐๐ฅ Chicken 65: Tasty and a must-order! This is one of their signature dishes. You can also try the Chicken 65 Biryani as a main course. ๐ ๐ฅฃ Apollo Fish: Recommended by Leo's Hyderabadi friend. It looks almost identical to Chicken 65, which is quite funny. ๐ Dal Tadka: A thin curry made from Pigeon Lentils, similar to a soup. I tried it last time and it was pretty good. ๐ฅฃ ๐ Main Courses Chettinad Curry Chicken: A flavorful curry chicken dish. I still prefer the Butter Chicken we had last time, though. ๐ ๐ฅฃ Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani: Another signature dish here. It rivals our favorite Dhamaka Handi Mutton Biryani. ๐ Goat Fry Biryani: We tried this one this time, and it was delicious too, though the mutton sauce was a bit less. ๐ ๐ We added naan both times โ it's very fragrant and has a nice, crispy texture. ๐ฅจ #NewYork ๐ฝ๐
