New York Italian Fine Dining 🌟
Because of the jet lag, I had a light sleep and almost couldn't get up. 😴 🥰 I forced myself to have a proper meal. In just 15 minutes, I did my makeup and another 15 minutes on TikTok to pick a hidden gem restaurant that's famous among the local Italian community. I called to check if they could accommodate a walk-in, and as soon as I got a "yes," I took a cab right over. 🚕 The restaurant doesn't even have a sign outside. I love these kind of "good wine needs no bush" places. 😏 Especially their salad, which combines arugula, roasted pistachios, and ham—some of my recent favorite ingredients—with a hint of sweet orange. It was simply perfect! 😆 For two or more people, they give tall silver candelabras, but for one person, you just get a little candle in a glass. 🥺 So basic! A perfect fine dining on New Year's Eve. Though I was told not to go out at night, 🤔 I realized after the meal that it was already past the "safe time." At the end, when the waiter asked how the food and service were, I said it was great and mentioned that since it was Chinese New Year today, it was wonderful to have such a delicious dinner. 🎉 (I didn't expect that the waiter would bring me a complimentary dessert!) Human touch is universal, haha! Restaurant name: 📍 Scalini Fedeli #HiddenGemRestaurant #ItalianCuisine 🌇🌟
