New York Japanese Cuisine: Konban | Delicious and Craving More π£
Sashimi Set Fresh and tender, a delight for sashimi lovers! The fatty tuna belly is especially rich and smooth. π£ Toro Taku Shari The nori (seaweed) is served on the side for you to wrap it yourself. After finishing the layer of fatty tuna, I used the nori to wrap rice and salmon together with sashimi. Oyeah! So delicious! π£ Sabazushi This one is more about filling your stomach. The fishy taste is minimal, but it becomes a bit more noticeable after having the previous two dishes. It's good, but not a must-order. π£ Corn Rib - πππ A must-order! Don't underestimate the corn! It's incredibly fragrant. We ordered two portions and cleared them all! π½ Eggplant Agebitashi After taking the photo, you need to mix the fried eggplant on top with the tomato meat sauce at the bottom thoroughly, then spread it on a baguette. It's flavorful, but the skin of the eggplant is a bit tough. π Truffle Rice The refreshing aroma of mushrooms wraps around the oily grains of rice. Mixing the well-stirred roasted eggplant into the rice is a genius move. I'm so good at this, haha! π Pork Loin Katsu πππ No need to say more, I will definitely come back for the katsu! Next time, I'll order one portion of katsu and one of truffle rice, and enjoy them with a glass of Asahi. It's the perfect comfort food! π #NewYorkJapaneseFood #NewYorkFood #USA ππ
