New York Japanese Cuisine π£ | Who's Clanking Dishes in the Izakaya?
π Sozai Japanese Restaurant πI was drawn in by the crab meat croquettes, and they definitely hit the spot! The mentaiko sauce on top is rich and flavorful, with a smooth texture. The croquettes are crispy on the outside, but when you bite into them, the crab meat paste inside bursts out like a delicious surprise. π I had a great time eating them, hehe, but be careful not to get burned! π I also ordered some wasabi octopus, which had a classic taste. The octopus was chewy, and the wasabi had a nice kick, making it perfect for sipping sake. π¦ For the main course, we had unagi don and beef don. The unagi was deliciousβthick, flavorful, and not greasy at all, with a rich sauce. π But the beef was a bit dry, and when paired with the already slightly dry and hard rice, it just didn't work for me. I won't be ordering that again. π± #NewYorkCuisine #NewYorkIzakaya #NewYorkJapaneseFood #NewYorkJapaneseBar π’
