Novel Ingredients Like Fish Scales and Bones π Sometimes, only complaints can push me to post something. π’ Iβve been craving these hand rolls for so long. Even though the ratings are average, I still held onto a tiny bit of hope because itβs opened by Kissaki. Maybe itβll be okay! πOn a lazy Sunday noon, the restaurant was pretty empty with only two tables occupied, but the decor was clean. The menu is similar to other temaki placesβyou can order Γ la carte or go for a set. They also have some don, maki, and futomaki options. My friend and I each ordered a set and two dishes: Temaki 5 Piece Set πππ Ebi Yellowtail Futomaki πππ Kani Avocado Salad ππ ποΈ The rice was way too sour and incredibly sticky. Once in your mouth, it felt like a clump, completely lacking that perfect grain separation. It reminded me of when I was a kid and overwatered the rice while steaming it. π Living in New York, youβve probably eaten your fair share of food. But among the diverse Japanese restaurants here, I never expected to encounter fish scales and bones... It was a real downer. After reporting to the waiter, the manager only gave us a 50% discount on that dish. Is this standard service?
