New York Japanese Restaurant: Ondo Omakase
I discovered a hidden gem of an affordable Omakase in the corner of Soho over the weekend! For $120, you get a whopping 16 courses! Plus, the sushi ingredients are all very fresh. The three appetizers and the dessert are all made with care and creativity, making the entire experience very comfortable! It's been a while since I've had such a satisfying Omakase π I want to bring my friends here again π π Three Appetizers π β€ Hokkaido Sea Urchin Sauce + Salmon Roe + Sweet Shrimp β€οΈ Mackerel Sashimi: Sliced mackerel served with bonito broth, seasoned with finely chopped shiso leaves, it's incredibly fresh. β€οΈ Silver Cod with Pineapple Miso Sauce: The silver cod is incredibly tender! The pineapple sauce and cherry tomatoes complement each other to cut through the richness. π Twelve Pieces of Sushi π£π The order is well arranged, one after another, smooth and rich in variety π₯². Here are a few of my favorites: π£ Chu-Toro with O-Toro: The combination of the two controls the fat ratio very well, and the taste is excellent! π£ Wagyu Beef with Foie Gras: The torched Wagyu beef and foie gras are incredibly fragrant! You can't go wrong with this combination! #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExplorer #NewYorkJapaneseCuisine #AffordableJapaneseFoodInNewYork #DeliciousJapaneseFoodInNewYork #NewYorkOmakase #NewYorkUpAndComingOmakase
