New York Japanese Yakitori Restaurant NoNoNo: A Minefield to Avoid (1)
First things first, this post is solely for warning others about potential pitfalls 💣. 🌺A few days ago, during Black Friday, I went to a Japanese yakitori restaurant in New York called NoNoNo with my friends. I was really looking forward to finally trying the yakitori I had been craving, but the experience was quite disappointing. 🌟 Let me give you a heads-up: if you’re specifically looking for lantern chicken (a particular dish), don’t even consider this place, because it’s not on the menu. Moreover, most of the flavors here are extremely bland. I would say that the majority of the skewers are virtually unseasoned. 🌺 Now, let’s talk about the few highlights, on a scale of 1 to 5🌟: 🌟Fried Chicken: 3.5🌟. It’s a bit better than your average fried chicken. The main reason is that they push all the chicken thigh meat to the front, so you can just hold the bone and enjoy the full piece of meat. 🌺 Maybe because everything else was so bland, the seasoning on this dish actually seemed quite sufficient in comparison. #NewYork 🍗
