New York Jua | A Ride 🚗 Worth Taking for a Taste of Home!

It’s delicious! Before going, I saw a lot of buzz on social media, and it’s said to be the most cost-effective Korean fine dining in New York. I went with an open mind, and the verdict is that it’s truly authentic and suits the Chinese palate. I even think it’s a place I could bring my parents. Here are some standout dishes: ⭐️ Caviar Kim + Uni Kim (Extra $30 💠) We were curious if "kim" meant kimchi, but we found out it’s actually crispy nori. This dish, which stays on the menu through the seasons, has a very rich texture. It includes daikon radish and is exceptionally well-seasoned. The layer of caviar looks especially thick. I saw some cross-section photos online, haha, you should check them out. ⭐️ Jook (Bobae optional for extra 💰) The hot porridge is served piping hot, even the bowl is warm! It’s delicious and flavorful. We all agreed that adding abalone is definitely worth it. The dish is incredibly aromatic, and the abalone adds a richer texture to the porridge. It’s a signature dish available every season, and many people on social media revisit just for this porridge! ⭐️ Goguma Juak (Sweet Potato Doughnuts with Vanilla Ice Cream) The final dessert is sticky and slightly crispy but not fully crunchy, offering a very unique texture. It’s flavored with sweet potato, so it’s not overly sweet. It gives a healthy, satisfying, and delicious comfort. My friend and I loved it! If you enjoy sweet, sticky treats, don’t miss this. It’s not available on the summer menu! 💡 The restaurant is relatively easy to book, with two seatings daily at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM. I celebrated getting my H1B visa by treating my friend to a meal here (passing on the good luck 🎉). The 8:30 PM slot is easier to book, so if you’re flexible with time, go for that one. 💡 The cocktails are just okay; if you want to drink, I’d recommend ordering wine instead. Haha. #NYCLife #NYCFoodie #NYCRestaurant #NewYork #NYCExploration #MichelinRestaurant #NYCKorean #NYCMichelin #NYCMichelinOneStar #NYCMichelinBirthdayDinner #h1b #h1bvisa #goodluck
