New York Jungsik Sous Chef's New Place (1)

New York Jungsik Sous Chef's New Place | Sino-French Fusion Fine Dining 🌟 A few days ago, I tried the new menu at Maison Sun. Chef Dai, the former sous chef of the three-Michelin-starred Jungsik in New York, also previously worked at Restaurant Yuu. For $185, you get a Michelin-level experience—it’s quite a steal! 🤣 The winter menu was overall very impressive. This new Sino-French Fine Dining offers a unique blend of Chinese and French cuisines. Some dishes are presented in a French style, with both novelty and sincerity, making it perfect for an Asian palate. 👏 ❤️ Favorites: 🌟 Madai: The marbled sea bream sashimi is paired with cold-brewed tea soy sauce and tomato jelly. The addition of tea is very refreshing and de-greasing, adding a delightful twist. 🍣 🌟 Spring Roll: The flounder spring roll draws inspiration from French fish pies. The filling is substantial, and the crab vinegar sauce comes in a small dropper bottle, giving a chemistry lab vibe. 🥔 A few drops really enhance the flavor. #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFineDining 🌆
