🍬 Desserts Over the years, we've tried almost all of their desserts and can confidently say they're all good! Our favorites include: Penang Mah Chee This is truly top-notch, even by Penang standards. The generous amount of crushed peanuts combined with the soft and chewy glutinous rice balls is simply heavenly! 🌸 🍡 Ondeh Ondeh Purple sweet potato and coconut sugar cake. 🍃 🍰 The layered cakes like the Kueh Lapis and Pandan Coconut Juice Double Layer Cake are also delicious. 🌺 🧋 Teh Tarik Malaysian pulled tea. Fun fact for those in the know: look for the foam! The pulling technique creates a lot of foam on top. We had it hot this time, but it's even better iced during the summer. 🧧 Every year during the Lunar New Year, we order their Yee Sang! 🎉 No reservations are accepted, and the line starts forming outside after 11 a.m. on weekends. Recently, we discovered that Panda Express is offering a 60% discount for Kopitiam on their app! 🎈 Next time, we can just order takeout and avoid the wait. Although, for dishes like Mah Chee or fried kway teow that are best enjoyed hot, it's still better to dine in. 🍔 #WhereToGoOnWeekends 🚗
