New York Korean Cuisine 🌟
If you’re looking for Korean food in New York, let me share my experience with Mokyo—a place I actually least recommend, but I’m bringing it up to help you make better choices. 🤔 🗽 The standout here is their corn 🌽, which is hands down the best part of our visit. It’s incredibly rich and full of flavor, almost like a creamy, dreamy side dish that you’ll want to savor every bite of. 🌟 However, the rest of the dishes were a bit of a letdown. We tried the steak, which was just okay—nothing special. 🗽 The wagyu rolls were decent but didn’t blow us away. And the octopus rice was pretty average too. Overall, I can’t really recommend this place for a full meal. 🍖🐙 Interestingly, Mokyo is run by the same owner as Thursday, another popular spot. Despite being selected by Yelp as the top 1 most Michelin-worthy restaurant in the East Village 🍴, it just didn’t live up to the hype for me. 🗽 If you’re looking for a better Korean dining experience, I’d definitely recommend checking out its sister restaurant, Thursday Kit. From what I’ve heard and seen, it offers a more consistent and delightful menu. 🍽️ #NewYork #NewYorkLife #NewYorkKoreanCuisine 🗽🌟
