New York Korean Restaurant: Nudibranch
When in doubt about what to eat, I head to the East Village, where there's always a surprise waiting. Last week, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a Korean Fine Dining spot on the streets of the East Village. The restaurant has a stylish decor and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for dates and chatting. The food is both visually appealing and delicious, especially the braised oxtail that I can't stop thinking about days later. The average cost per person is around $70-$80. ❤️ Oxtail Tajine: A must-order, the braised oxtail is tender and flavorful, served with chickpeas and raisins. Not only is the oxtail incredibly fragrant, but the sauce is also top-notch! At the enthusiastic recommendation of our waiter, we added a bowl of seaweed butter rice, and the oxtail sauce mixed with rice was out of this world!! ❤️ Hamachi Kama: This grilled yellowtail fish jaw is also incredibly fragrant! The fish skin is golden and crispy, the flesh is tender, and it pairs perfectly with sour cream seasoned with scallions. ❤️ Mussels: The stewed mussels are infused with Korean chili sauce and kimchi bits, and pork mince is added to enrich the texture. The mussels themselves are plump and juicy, bursting with flavor! ❤️ Scallop: This scallop dish is visually stunning, truly at the Michelin level! The scallop meat is cut into small pieces and laid on the shell, drizzled with passion fruit sorbet and coconut milk, creating an incredibly refreshing taste! #AfterWorkDrinks #NewYork #NewYorkFun #NewYorkLife #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExplorer #ManhattanNYCFood #KoreanFoodNYC
