New York l’abeille 🌟
Pickled Squid, Pickled Plums, Cucumber Smoothie, Caviar ▫️Foie Gras, Blood Oranges Amberjack with Cucumber and Herb Sauce Ribeye Steak, Beef Tongue, Beef Bone Marrow Apple and Citrus Caramel Ice Pop▫️ Pumpkin Slices, Vanilla Ice Cream▫️ Petits Fours 🌸 This place has such a great vibe! As soon as you walk in, there’s a bar (btw, their bar is pretty cool too), and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and lively—perfect for having a good chat with friends. 🍸 Chef Mitsunobu has an impressive resume. He started off really strong, working at two three-Michelin-star restaurants right after graduation. 🌟 In 2008, he joined his dream restaurant, Joël Robuchon in Tokyo, and he even worked as a chef at Tokyo L’osier. 🌟 How did such an amazing background end up feeling a bit off in New York, though? 🍃 The main course, which required an add-on, was… ummmm, let’s not even get into the fact that in a restaurant where the average price per person is over $200, the steak was cooked well-done without being asked. 🌟 The fact that two steaks had very different levels of doneness also says something about the quality control. 🤔 🍃 Also, the tables were really not cleaned properly. Is it just me, or are restaurants these days not willing to clean the crumbs off the tables anymore?
