New York LIC | Michelin Star Chef đ New Japanese ramen restaurant
The executive chef of Kanoyamaâa Michelin-starred omakase in New Yorkâhas opened a noodle & wine bar in LIC! As a die-hard Kanoyama fan, I immediately rushed over to try it! 𼳠Even though itâs labeled as a ramen shop, it feels more like a cozy Japanese casual dining spotď˝ đ Char Siu Shoyu Ramen There are only two ramen options: char siu and vegetarian, but this one is pretty good! The broth is flavorful, and the noodles are perfectly chewyâjust the right texture. đ Omelette Rice Tangy tomato fried rice wrapped in a soft, fluffy omeletteâtotal comfort food! đ đ Hamburger Steak The beef patty is so tender! Pair it with rice and lettuce, and itâs super authentically Japanese. There are also fries on the side, and theyâre fried to a crispy perfection. đ Matcha Pancakes The pancakes themselves are plain, but they come with matcha sauce drizzled on topâwhich is a nice touch. đ Rose Matcha Latte The latte art topped with rose petals đš is stunningâso photo-worthy! All their drinks are super creative and visually appealingâtotal eye-catchers! We also ordered the ăOrange Coffeeăâsuch a unique combination đ! Itâs light and refreshing, perfect for summer. The ăMocha Coffeeă has extra chocolate syrupâsweet and rich. âłď¸ Vert Frais 43-10 Crescent St, Queens, NY 11101 ăHoursă Weekends: 11am-10pm (Closed on Mondays) Tue-Fri: 12pm-4pm, 5:30pm-10pm ăOverall Reviewă The menu selection is still a bit limited for now, and the food is generally solid but not groundbreaking.
