New York LIC Food | Jora Peruvian Cuisine Recommendation! 🌟
Back in high school geography, I first heard about Peru. Today, I tried Peruvian food for the first time, and surprisingly, it really suits my Chinese palate. 🌅Note that the restaurant offers free parking at the entrance. I didn't see it on my first visit and spent a long time looking for a parking spot. The average cost per person, including tips, is $45, and we ate very full. ANTICUCHOS Grilled Beef Heart Skewers, served with roasted potatoes and corn kernels. The beef heart is tender, with a subtle cumin flavor and a savory-sour sauce, which is not greasy at all. 🌸🍃 GRILLED OCTOPUS The octopus is thick and perfectly grilled, served with crispy roasted potato chips and corn kernels. I really like the potato chips underneath, which are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. ARROZ CON MARISCOS Seafood Rice. At first, I wasn't used to the slightly sour taste of the rice, but after a few bites, I couldn't stop. 🌸🍃 The rice is distinct, paired with mussels, shrimp, and octopus. It's really delicious. 🌅PASSION FRUIT CHEESECAKE For those who love passion fruit, this is a must-try. The cheesecake has a thin layer of passion fruit jelly on top, which balances the sweetness of the cheesecake. The cookie base is a bit sweet, but the overall combination is very harmonious. 🌸🍃 #NewYork 🌇🌟
