New York Manhattan's Top Shanghai Cuisine 🥢🥇
We ordered a few dishes, and here are my recommendations: 🥇 Strongly Recommend: [Three-Yellow Chicken] The soy sauce is exactly like what you’d find in Shanghai! I ordered two plates and devoured them both! Absolutely loved it! ❤️ Highly Recommend: [Crab Powder Soup Dumplings] 🥇While they’re not quite as good as Jo’s Shanghai (the top-rated soup dumplings in Manhattan, very popular and might require a wait), they’re cheaper and no waiting involved! Great value! I think for soup dumplings, you must try the crab powder ones. They’re not as good as Din Tai Fung, but they’re delicious and more flavorful than regular soup dumplings. Highly recommended! So affordable! 🥟 🥇 Malantou (Houttuynia) It really tastes like malantou! Where do they get it from? So impressive! 🌿 Sweet and Sour Ribs Quite home-style, nothing particularly outstanding—like the kind you’d make at home. 🍖 🥇 Stir-Fried Eel I found it average. The eel meat wasn’t very elastic. It’s okay to order, but not very impressive. 💔 Definitely Avoid: [Pan-Fried Buns] 💔 Not good at all! No juice inside, no soul. Big no-no! 👎 Feel free to try other dishes based on your preferences! There’s [Squirrel Fish], which looks very fancy! I also think the [Pumpkin Cake] looks nice—I’ll give it a try next time! 🎃 #NYCChineseFood #ManhattanChineseCuisineRecommendations 🌆🌟
