New York | Matcha Cafe Maiko

🌟Oh my goodness, today while having a meal in Fort Lee, I discovered that my favorite matcha place, Maiko, has opened a branch in NJ! As a matcha lover, I was almost moved to tears😍 After having it in Hawaii, I couldn't stop thinking about it; we would get a serving of matcha ice cream almost every day when we were on Oahu~This place truly serves the best matcha ice cream I've had since coming to the United States! It's very similar to the taste of Tsujiri Tea House, with a slight bitterness and rich aroma of tea upon tasting.🌟 🌟At this cafe, anything with matcha ice cream, whether it's a Float, smoothie, or latte, is quite good! Of course, my favorite is still the 【Maiko Special】, a drink packed with ingredients: matcha cake at the bottom, tea jelly, red beans, corn crisps, mochi balls, chestnuts, topped with matcha ice cream, it's a complete satisfaction in one serving! 🌟Additionally, my boyfriend loves their taro ice cream, so those who enjoy taro should give it a try~ I highly recommend trying the Matcha Shave Ice, which is drizzled with matcha sauce and has a subtle aroma of matcha. It's paired with glutinous rice balls, red bean paste, and chestnuts, making it visually stunning, resembling a torch. I would not recommend the egg puffs as they lack the distinct egg flavor and have a texture similar to an under-risen cake. #Matcha #NewJerseyFood #NewJerseyExplore #NewJerseyNJFun #NJFood #WhatToEatInNewJersey #FortLee #FortLeeFood #FortLeeExplore
