New York Michelin Three-Star Adventure 🌟
Stop Five: Masa 🍃When I dined here, it was still a three-star Michelin restaurant, but by the time I wrote this, it had been downgraded to two stars. It feels like a reflection of the experience itself—still amazing, but not quite living up to the highest standards anymore. 🌟 I only have this one photo from the restaurant because they don’t allow cell phones inside. I get that they want diners to focus on their meal, but such strict rules feel a bit pretentious. It’s like they’re trying too hard to enforce a certain atmosphere. 📵 🍃The decor, setup, food, and service are all on par with other high-end omakase restaurants. Everything is beautifully crafted and presented, but the prices are four to five times higher than others. Given the competition and the high expectations that come with a Michelin rating, the downgrade feels pretty inevitable. 🍣 Lunch starts at $495, and dinner at $950. It’s definitely a luxury experience, but you can’t help but wonder if the price tag matches the value. 🍃 Oh, and they gave me a little handkerchief as a parting gift. It was a nice touch, but somehow it felt like a small consolation prize. 🎀 #Michelin #MichelinRestaurant #FineDining #Omakase 🌆🌟
