New York Midtown Affordable Omakase❗️| 15 Pieces for $100🔪

🍴 Shogun Omakase 📍 295 Madison Ave #101G, New York, NY 10017 It's been a while since I last had Omakase, and finally, I got to enjoy it with my friend! 🌟 This place offers: Omakase Lunch: 12 Courses for $68🔪 Omakase A: 15 Courses for $100🔪 Omakase B: 19 Courses for $150🔪 We chose the Omakase A, and we were very full❗️ We were actually quite satisfied after the 12th course. For girls, this is more than enough, but if you're a guy and worry about still being hungry, you might want to go for the Omakase B. My friend and I thought the appetizers were just okay. The oysters 🦪 had a bit of a fishy taste, and the garlic imperial crab soup was a bit too salty. Also, for some reason, we both felt the crab meat had a hint of soap, but the soup didn't. Maybe it was just us? Then came the sushi, and each piece was really good. We especially loved a few dishes: The Hokkaido sea urchin was delightfully sweet and fresh. The eel with foie gras was an unexpected match, with the foie gras melting in your mouth. It was a perfect combination❗️ The squid 🦑 had a refreshing, chewy texture with a hint of yuzu's citrusy aroma. The toro tuna was, as always, a solid choice. Finally, the dessert✨ 💚 The matcha tiramisu was amazing! The slightly bitter matcha paired with the creamy sweetness was perfect. Matcha lovers, this is a must-try!!! Overall, the price was great, the portions were filling, and the flavors were nice❗️ This is definitely an Omakase place worth visiting with friends! #NewYorkFoodie #MidtownManhattanCuisine 🌆🌟
