New York Mission Ceviche 🌟
I tried the Peruvian specialty ceviche and ordered the Seafood Mixto. The overall flavor is tangy and sweet, which is very refreshing. I especially loved the fried shrimp 🍔 in it—they were so fragrant. The octopus and shrimp were also very chewy, while I found the mahi-mahi 🐟 to be just okay. For the appetizer, I had the Causa de Cangrejo, which I really like. The presentation of this dish is quite unique. The potatoes are shredded and dyed with squid ink for a cool color effect. Inside, there's crab meat 🦀 and avocado 🥑, and I think they seasoned it with a bit of 🤏 chili pepper. The taste is good, though a bit on the plain side. It's not the best value, but I enjoyed it. Their signature seafood rice 🍖, the Arroz con Mariscos, comes in a small portion—just right for two people to share. The rice is very flavorful, and they sprinkle cheese on top, which melts into a nice, stringy texture. It includes shrimp, fish 🐟, and squid, but the seafood quantity isn't overwhelming. Overall, it's delicious, and I liked it. It didn't feel too salty while eating, but I noticed it a bit after finishing. 🍽️ #NewYork 🗽
