New York Noda 🌟

🎢Some say that the most interesting part of life is the random and inexplicable troubles that pop up. Noda is a place where I spent the entire meal with a furrowed brow (and that’s a compliment). The restaurant itself is fantastic, from the chef to the design and the dishes. But the absurdly funny part is that you have no idea who your fellow diners will be—whether they’re parallel lines or intersecting paths. 🍃 At this omakase, I encountered a “cool guy” who turned a high-end restaurant into a Northeastern Chinese street stall, completely ignoring all interactive etiquette and breaking all social distancing rules. 🎢 This fellow diner was so carefree and confident, defying all norms. He must have some influence in America; he’s probably the King of New York’s Flushing. It’s a pity I didn’t take a photo with him. 🌊 Otherwise, showing a photo with the King in Flushing might get me a discount or some leftovers! When he made his final, forceful move and spilled his drink all over my table and collar, and when his social distance from me became just a few centimeters, I could even count his blackheads. 🌸 That’s when I finally sent a “please save me” signal to the chef, who thankfully understood. Thank you so much! This young chef is definitely going places! 🏙️ Noda was delicious from start to finish! But compared to my constant vigilance, I eventually forgot the taste of the food. #NewYork 🗽
