New York Omakase: Kanoyama—The Real Deal 🌟

I used to love this place for its Michelin stars, but I can understand why it didn’t get one this year. To start, they gave us a glass of watermelon juice, which was a nice touch. But then the appetizers were either tempura or fish with green sauce, making me wonder if I was eating some kind of tempura omakase. 🌟 By the end, I felt like I was getting a bit too much of the same thing. 🍣 The sushi that followed was decent—some pieces were actually quite good. 🌟The dessert was strawberry cheesecake, which was fine but nothing special. Overall, I was a bit disappointed, but at $195 pre-tax, I guess that’s what you get. 🍓 I’m still on the hunt for a truly amazing omakase in New York.
