New York Omakase Experience 🍣

🌟I recently visited Mori Omakase in New York, and I had high expectations after seeing so many posts about it. I thought it would be a large, bustling restaurant, but it turned out to be surprisingly narrow, almost like a small strip. 🎋 The lighting was quite dim, giving it a cozy yet intimate atmosphere. The service was actually quite impressive—attentive and friendly, which made up for the somewhat cramped space. 🌟The decor was tasteful, with a modern and minimalist vibe that felt very New York. However, sitting on the edges, you might feel a bit overlooked since there was only one chef working behind the counter, focused on his craft. 😅 The real letdown, though, was the food. I was expecting a traditional Japanese omakase experience, but the flavors leaned more towards a Thai-inspired profile. The dishes didn’t feel particularly fresh, and the overall taste was a bit off. It was a mix of bland and overly rich dishes that didn’t quite mesh well together. One moment it was tasteless, and the next, it was too heavy. The combination just didn’t work for me. 🍣 🌟I took live photos of the dishes, so you can get a better sense of what to expect. I’d recommend checking them out and deciding for yourself! 📸 #NewYorkEats #NYCOmakase #DiningAdventures 🗽🌟
