New York omakase restruant--Shinpi Omakase
π£ Each piece of white fish at their place is quite memorable, with many seemingly inconspicuous garnishes that turn out to be the finishing touches, such as osmanthus, shiso, yuzu peel, fried garlic chips, and so on. I particularly enjoyed the Mexican fish with Mexican chili, where the fish was tender, sweet, and had a delightful chewiness. π£ That night, we indulged in a plethora of sea urchins: one dish was sprinkled with black truffle; another was layered with wagyu beef and foie gras, then torched, and the burst of rich, fatty flavors was so blissful it made one close their eyes in happiness; there was also a dish that was simply mixed into a sea urchin rice, topped with crispy bread and thick scallops, which was so full and satisfying that one bite was not enough to contain it all! π£ The peony shrimp was also exceptional, sweet and glutinous, melting in your mouth! Both the king salmon and black cod were incredibly tender and melted in the mouth. π° $129 πShinipi Omakase 121 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10016 #Shinpi Omakase#sushi#New York#food diary
