This is probably the ultimate evolution of that kind of dish. Toro is cut into small pieces, accompanied by ponzu sauce, French crème fraîche, and caviar, served with chips... This combination is hard to go wrong as long as the proportions are balanced. The toro tartare is tender, smooth, and elastic, complemented by the soft creaminess of the crème fraîche, the umami of the caviar, and the refreshing tang of the ponzu. It’s a well-balanced and rich dish that contrasts beautifully with the crispy chips. The presentation of the dish is also quite dramatic. 🍣 🌟 For the main course, I ordered cod. The cooking was spot-on, with the fish being delicate and smooth. The sake glaze added a rich, slightly sweet, and savory flavor that paired well with the vegetables. It wasn’t particularly creative, but the execution was quite high. 🐟 Because the pace was a bit slow, and I had to catch a play next, I skipped dessert. When I paid the bill, I was given three fruit gummies. If they’re supposed to represent the dessert quality, it might not be that great, but I’m not entirely sure. 🍬 🌟 Overall, it’s a seafood restaurant with pretty standard offerings. The ambiance is somewhat similar to Milos, but the flavors lean more towards Asian. They also offer whole fish options for grilling or sashimi, which should be great for both solo diners and small gatherings. 🍽️ The restaurant wasn’t crowded, and it was easy to get a reservation on the day. It’s a good spot to grab dinner if you’re passing by during a less busy time. 🌟 Also, the Lehman Trilogy was quite impressive. 🎭 #NewYorkRestaurants #NYCFoodGuide 🌇
