New York Restaurant Date and Photo Spot: Buddakan 📸

Buddakan is one of those trendy spots that looks amazing on Instagram, but honestly, the food just didn’t live up to the hype for me. 🏙️ I mean, their roasted duck is supposed to be a highlight, but it felt really unauthentic. The pairing of duck and melon was way too thick—like, seriously, how are you supposed to fit that into one bite? 🤣 🌺 We also ordered some drinks, soup dumplings, and tuna spring rolls. The soup dumplings were especially memorable, but not in a good way. 🫠 Unfortunately, they ended up splattering all over my friend’s pants. RIP to that outfit! 😂 After the meal, we decided to salvage the evening by heading to the nearby Soho House for a quick drink and to catch a movie. 🍃 It was the perfect way to end the evening, switching from a not-so-great dining experience to a cozy night in with a film. 🎬 🌸 #NewYork #DateNight #AdventuresInEating 🌟
