New York Restaurant Exploration 🌟

🍽 Roasted Spanish Octopus The large octopus legs are cut into small chunks, served with fava beans and oregano. The octopus is roasted to perfection—tender, chewy, and with a subtle charcoal aroma. 🦑 🍽 Union Square Market Salad 🥗 All ingredients are sourced from the Union Square Farmers Market right next door. The tomatoes might have been picked that very morning and are now on your plate. The ingredients change with the seasons, depending on what the chef buys that day. Freshness is guaranteed, and the salad is crisp, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. 🥬 🍽 Roasted Whole Fish The day’s fresh catch is displayed in the open kitchen. For roasted whole fish, you can usually choose from bass, snapper, or turbot. It’s prepared in a Mediterranean style, with lemon🍋, cilantro, and sea salt enhancing the fish’s natural flavor. The whole fish is filleted right in front of you and serves 2–4 people. The bass is incredibly fresh and impeccable. On my second visit, I tried turbot but found it a bit fishy. 🐟 🍽 Alaskan Black Cod Another modern Japanese dish, large pieces of cod are brushed with a thin layer of sake glaze and pan-seared until golden. Served with Chinese cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, and Japanese green peas. Cod can sometimes be greasy, but this dish cooks out the excess fat, resulting in a flavorful yet non-greasy texture. 🍖 🍷 Wine List The wine selection is extensive, with a focus on French and American wines. For this seafood feast, I’d recommend a Rhone blend or a Napa Chardonnay. On my second visit, the sommelier wasn’t very helpful, so if you find yourself in the same situation, go for a well-known brand. 🍷 #NewYork #SeafoodLovers #FineDining 🌆🌟
