New York Restaurant Hopping 🍔
Szechuan Gourmet: 8/10 The hot and sour soup had plenty of ingredients, but it wasn’t very sour.🏙️ The pig’s trotter soup gets a thumbs-up! The trotters were soft and the soup was rich. The greens were a bit tough. The roast duck had a sweet and salty flavor, but the skin wasn’t crispy. 🎢 Mr. Sun: 8/10 The soup dumplings were decent, but the skin was a bit thick. The char siu had a hint of alcohol, which I personally liked. The crispy pork belly was salty, with a crispy/hard skin.🏙️ I thought it was really tasty. The bean sprouts in the soup were a bit tough, but the flavor was okay. 🍃 LIC Nai Ge Pickled Fish: 7.5/10 It was just okay—salty and a bit spicy.🏙️ The flavor was average, not bad but not particularly good either. 🌸 Urban Hawker Hainanese Chicken Rice: 8/10 The dish had a refreshing flavor. The chicken oil rice was fragrant, and the broccoli was good. But $20 for a serving is a bit pricey. 🏙️ #NotFeelingWork #Foodie #FoodDiary 🌟
