New York Restaurant Review 🌆
🍽 Boiled Beef in Chili Oil 💬 This dish had a large portion, but it failed in the spiciness department! The spice level was just too over-the-top—pure heat with no aroma. It felt like the dish was trying to be spicy for the sake of it, and it really didn’t work. As someone from Jiangxi who loves spicy food, I was really disappointed! I don’t know what they were thinking... 😡 🌟 🍽 Water Spinach 💬 This one was actually good! It was stir-fried just right, with a nice wok hei. This was the only dish we finished that day. Vegetables are usually a safe bet! 🌿 🍽 Maoxuewang (Spicy Blood Tofu) 💬 I really have to complain about this one! Maoxuewang should be renamed “Bean Sprout Wang” because it was almost all bean sprouts! There was hardly any blood tofu or other ingredients. We were all shocked when we saw how many bean sprouts were at the bottom, and the dish was extremely oily! 🤢 This restaurant was really average, and the prices were high! Each dish cost around $20-$30, which I really don’t think is worth it. I went there because I saw it had a high rating on Google Maps, but my friends and I were all very unhappy with our meal. 🌟 I don’t understand why there were so many people in line. The dishes felt very pre-made, and the seasoning was way too heavy. There was too much MSG—it tasted like they were using strong flavors to cover up something. It was really disappointing... I’d rather eat at my grandmother’s house! Even a simple meal would be better than this. 🥺 #NewYorkRestaurant 🌟
