New York Restaurant Visit | Zou Zou’s Unique Mediterranean Brunch 🌟
I’ve been to Zou Zou’s, a Mediterranean restaurant near Hudson Yards, quite a few times, but always for dinner. Today, a friend invited me for brunch, and it was way more impressive than I expected! 🌆 🌟 A Mediterranean brunch wouldn’t be complete without Dips & Pita and Shakshuka, and Zou Zou’s has those classics. But what really sets them apart are some truly unique items on their menu: 1️⃣ The “Everything” Brunch Borek is like an everything bagel with lox, but made with borek (a flaky pastry). It’s incredibly crispy and delicious! 🥯 2️⃣ The Pistachio Babka Braid is amazing. It comes with orange cream cheese and raspberry crumbs. While it can be a bit heavy if you eat too much, that first bite is absolutely worth it! 🥧 3️⃣ The Dip Tower is pretty common, but their dips are all really well-made. I especially loved the Apricot Whipped Ricotta. 🍓 Other items like Our Manti, Crystal Valley Chicken, and Branzino are also delicious and worth trying, but they’re available on both the lunch and dinner menus, so they’re not exclusive to brunch. 🌟I’d skip the Shakshuka—it’s a bit underwhelming and not worth the price. #ChroniclerOfARomanticLife #NotebookInspiration 🌿
