New York Restaurant Week $45 β Every Dish Was a Delight π½οΈ
πΈHidden Behind a Secret Door Beauty & Essex I chose a restaurant hidden inside a pawn shop β at first, I really couldn't find the entrance! π΅οΈββοΈ π Once I pushed the door open, I was greeted by a stunningly luxurious dining room. The atmosphere was incredible β perfect for a date. The dim lighting and the spiral staircase made me feel like I'd stepped into a movie scene. I knew I'd made the right choice! π I didn't have high expectations for the menu β I mainly came for the ambiance. But wow, every dish was thoughtfully designed and full of flavor β so delicious that I was almost in tears!π π Appetizers Tuna Wonton Tacos: Super yummy β crispy and satisfying. The raw tuna inside was perfect. The seasoning made every bite heavenly! Dirty Tater Tots: These were amazing β topped with caviar, and the potato balls were large and delicious. π Main Courses Gochujang Salmon: The presentation was stunning β served on a bed of black rice. The salmon was perfectly seasoned, and paired with kimchi, it was out of this world! My friend and I couldn't stop raving about it. π’ Braised Short Ribs: The beef was slow-cooked to perfection β rich and flavorful. The corn was a delightful surprise β how can corn be this delicious? And of course, the creamy mashed potatoes were my favorite part! π Desserts Doughnuts: I loved these! Besides chocolate and strawberry sauce, there was also caramel sauce β so rich and delicious. Dipping the doughnuts into the sauces was pure bliss. Strawberry Shortcake: The sweetness was just right, not cloying at all. The cream inside was incredibly smooth. π In short, every dish was a delightful surprise β so tasty that I felt full and satisfied after the three-course meal. The ambiance is perfect for a date, with a sexy vibe that makes the whole experience unforgettable. I'll definitely be coming back! π π Beauty & Essex 146 Essex St, New York, NY 10002 πΈ #NewYorkRestaurantWeek π½οΈ #NewYorkExploration ππ
