New York's First Sea Urchin Pasta: 15 EAST @ Tocqueville
New York's dining scene is becoming increasingly competitive, with many impressive Japanese-French fusion restaurants emerging in the past two years. Last weekend, I dined at a rather hidden gem of a Japanese-French fusion fine dining restaurant, and my only thought after the meal was: how has this place not become popular yet? It's on par with Michelin-starred French cuisine in every aspect! ๐ I must arrange a second visit before it becomes the talk of the town! I heard that this is the first restaurant in New York to serve sea urchin pasta, and it was truly astonishing. We opted for the 3-course menu, and every dish was excellent! Additionally, the overall ambiance of the restaurant is superb, with fresh flowers, candleholders, and crystal chandeliers, creating the perfect date night atmosphere. โค๏ธ Sea Urchin Pasta: This dish is unforgettable! The sea urchin is incredibly fresh and sweet, paired with Angel Hair pasta and a very creamy sauce, it's simply divine! โค๏ธ Foie Gras and Black Truffle Tea Bowl Steamed Egg: As soon as the lid is lifted, the aroma of seared foie gras and black truffle fills the air. The steamed egg is smooth and tender, a combination that never gets old. โค๏ธ Maine Lobster Rice: The lobster meat is tender and bouncy, served with purple rice and Thai curry sauce, offering a rich tapestry of flavors. #FlavorfulCities #NewYork #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFun #HiddenGemRestaurant #NewYorkFoodExplorer #ManhattanNYCFood #NewYorkFrenchCuisine
