New York's Sincere Restaurant Week is a Rarity
Last weekend, my friends and I enjoyed a truly sincere Restaurant Week meal this summer! A happy weekend recharge ✅ It has to be said that in the past two years, Restaurant Week has not only become more expensive, but many restaurants have also become increasingly perfunctory... but this place was really a pleasant surprise, with a $60 four-course meal that offered a lot of choices, delicious flavors, and generous portions! We even couldn't finish it all 🤣 ❤️ The Gallery is under the Odori brand, a creative Japanese restaurant by Michelin chef Hiroki Odori. The entire restaurant is beautifully decorated in a Japanese style, with quite a few pieces of art hanging, living up to its reputation. ❤️ The main course, Chirashi, is a huge portion with excellent quality sashimi. The A5 Wagyu Udon is also delicious 💯 ❤️ The 1st course, tea bowl steamed egg, was extra sweet with added sea urchin. The 2nd course, I chose caviar fried chicken and Japanese tempura, both of which were on point, and the joy of fried food really cannot be replaced! ❤️ Additionally, they have a European waiter who is really handsome 🤣 He squatted by my table and introduced the wines for lunch in a very gentle manner. #QixiFestivalRomanticDishes #NewYorkFood #NewYorkMichelin #NewYorkMichelinRestaurants #NewYorkJapaneseCuisine #NewYorkRestaurantWeek #NewYork2024RestaurantWeek #NewYorkFoodExploration #ManhattanFoodNYC
