šļøFirst Round: Larb Gai - This drink is a burst of flavors. It feels like youāre eating a Thai salad when you sip it. Turns out, thatās exactly what itās named after. It seems both the bartenderās craft and my taste buds were spot on. Highly recommended! šµ š Buttered Paloma - My friend said it tasted like a grapefruit soda to him, while I thought it had a vitamin or syrup-like flavor. Maybe itās just the grapefruit notes shining through. Caramelized Apple - This was my least favorite of the first round. Honestly, I didnāt taste the apple. It felt more like sweet water with an alcoholic kick. Friends who enjoy a stronger drink might find it well-balanced, though. š¢ Le Petit Fizz - A passionfruit and yogurt drink with barely any alcohol. Itās so much better than Shinjiās version. A delightful little beverage! šµ šļøSecond Round: Le BananĆ© - Pure, ripe banana flavor. How did they achieve this? Itās like biting into a banana. š š Oats, Honey & Raspberry - I ordered this one blind and was slightly taken aback by the whisky (?) notes when I first smelled it. But the flavors blend well. The smoky oat milk on top and the jam on the bottom need to be mixed. It offers two different experiences and is totally acceptable for those who donāt drink much alcohol. šļøMelon, Cheese & Pepper - My melon-loving friend said this one is a must-try. The cheese foam is balanced by the melon flavor, making it quite refreshing. Pears Without Guilt - Someone sneakily ordered a non-alcoholic pear-flavored juice. š šø A Few Regrets: Maybe it was just the busy weekend crowd, but the back room was packed with people sitting and standing. It felt a bit cramped. Also, they were out of the Strawberry & Cheese drink that day. The roasted potatoes were good, but the rest were just average. #NewYork #NYCBars #NewYorkLife š
