New York Shang Gong Chu 🌟
I’ve never dined in at Shang Gong Chu in Jersey City before. The last time I ordered the super crispy double double-crisp takeout, it was incredibly amazing! This time, for the Qixi Festival, I brought my husband here for roast duck🥰 After finishing the meal, I loved it so much that it became my favorite Chinese restaurant in JC! 📣 Shang Gong Chu 📍319 Warren St, Jersey City, NJ 07302 Here’s my personal ranking based on preference👇🏻 🌟 Pressure-Cooked Taro and Spare Ribs 💲25.95 Because of this dish, I think this place is the strongest Chinese restaurant in JC! The high-pressure cooker is super impressive when it’s brought to the table, and the portion is huge! The ribs are flavorful, and the taro is soft and mushy. Even I, who don’t usually like pork, ate a lot! A must-order recommendation! 🍖 🌟 Crab Roe Tofu 💲16.95 How can such an ordinary-looking crab roe tofu be so delicious! It’s even served in a crab-shaped bowl, and the portion is generous! A must-order. Perfect for dining in; the leftovers aren’t as amazing when reheated at home. 🌟 Snow Vegetable and Rice Cake Stir-Fry 💲16.95 Almost misled by the name! It’s not snow vegetable at all; it’s just bok choy. An incredibly delicious Shanghai dish! The rice cakes are soft and chewy, and they go perfectly with the stir-fried vegetables. A must-order! 🍲 #NewYork 🌆🌟
