New York Sip & Guzzle โข Asian New Wave Steps onto the Global Stage ๐
Sip & Guzzl*e in NYC can be seen as Shingo's first step from Asia to the world. As a regular from Shanghai/Tokyo, I naturally had to come and show my support. The place opens at 4 p.m., and we could only sit in the ground-floor guzzle area, casually ordering a drink with a friend. ๐น Mint Mojite ๐น Lychee Martini These two drinks were pretty standard. The herbal flavor in the Mojite was a bit overpowering. At 5 p.m., we headed to the basement sip area, the true heart of S & G: ๐น Chinatown No. 5 A great blend of floral, fruity, and alcoholic notes. ๐น Wax On The cup rimmed with white chocolate was a very interesting design, and the lactic flavor was also quite nice. This was the best drink of the night. ๐น Natural Unnatural Wine A bottled cocktail with a strong medicinal flavor from the yerba mate. ๐น Dirty Mango A Martini with a not-so-strong mango flavor but a high alcohol content. ๐น Drunken Grandmaโs Apple Pie A well-executed drink with a sweet and sour taste, paired with baked apple slices. Currently, it's still relatively easy to make a reservation or walk in. Although there are areas for improvement, the overall output for a new establishment is quite impressive. I'm looking forward to even more amazing creations from the team in the future. #NewYorkBars #DrinkingInNYC #NYCAdventures ๐๐
