New York Solo Dining | Two-Michelin-Star French Cuisine 🌟
I finally remembered to write a review two weeks after dining here! 🍽️ I’ve decided to treat myself to a nice restaurant in NYC every Sunday, so this solo dining series will keep going. 🥂 Let’s dive into this restaurant experience! This time, I visited Nougatine during Restaurant Week for lunch—a two-Michelin-star French dining experience. Despite the crowd, the service was impeccable. I opted for their prix-fixe menu, which included three courses. 🍖 Appetizers 🍖 I chose the sashimi, which was a generous portion with many slices. However, the fish didn’t have much flavor, making it just average. 🍖 Main Course 🍖 Initially, I wanted the roasted chicken, but seeing a dry piece of chicken on wild rice at the next table, I switched to the lobster burger. Best decision ever! The patty was incredibly juicy and full of lobster meat, and the bread was fragrant. The whole burger was satisfying without being greasy. The portion of fries was also substantial—I couldn’t finish half of it. 🍖 Dessert 🍖 I went for the chocolate lava cake, which was divine. The molten chocolate paired with ice cream created a perfect balance of hot and cold. The cake wasn’t overly sweet either. 🍖 #NewYork #SoloDining #FrenchCuisine 🌆
