New York | Southeast Asian Cuisine: Kebaya

I've always been fond of Southeast Asian cuisine, especially the Nonya dishes where a variety of spices come together. It was perfect for a Friday dinner 😍 This is the new venture of chef Salil Mehta, who has several Michelin-recommended restaurants under his belt, and the quality has always been on point 👏 🔥 Crab Roast🦀️ Nonya curry crab, a must-try Southeast Asian specialty! The crab is large, with thick and rich meat. After being split, it's stir-fried with the shell, and every piece is coated with sauce~The aroma of the spices is very rich, and the sauce is also delicious with rice! 🔥 Laut Prawns🦞 Jumbo prawns, each half a pound, with a crispy shell and tender, smooth meat. The tempura sand beneath is mixed with curry spices and is also very fragrant! 🔥 Scallop Karabu🐚 (Repeat) Papaya scallop salad, with scallops, papaya shreds, radish slices, cherry tomatoes, etc., mixed together, it's tangy and sweet, very refreshing. 🍹 The Girl From Ipoh I didn't expect this drink, which I ordered blindly, to be surprisingly delicious. It's based on rum, mixed with milk curd, pandan, and pineapple, giving it a very refreshing and Southeast Asian flavor. #TastySpringOutingRoutes #NewYorkFood #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkFoodExploration #ManhattanEats #NewYorkRestaurants #HiddenGemRestaurantsInNewYork #NewYorkTrendyRestaurants
