New York Spanish Brunch 🌆🌟
Walking into the restaurant, you can see the chefs bustling around in the semi-open kitchen, stirring the filling. The already-made pies are displayed like pizzas, and you can truly feel the weight of this Spanish national delicacy. 🍕 🧀️ Manchego Mac & Cheese: This is the Spanish version of “American macaroni and cheese.” The cheese part has a smooth and creamy texture, not the usual stringy and thick cheese. There are also some vegetables added in. 🥛 🥘 Arroz con Secreto: The rice is perfectly cooked, with each grain distinct and not clumpy. It has absorbed all the juices, and the addition of mushrooms is so fragrant that it’s irresistible. The pork has no strange flavors, and the crispy exterior is a delightful touch. Highly recommended! 🍖 🍫 Churros con Chocolate: The molten chocolate sauce pairs perfectly with the Spanish churros. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the amount of cinnamon powder is just right. Who doesn’t love the aroma of sweet sugar and oil! 🍫 This is a down-to-earth, affordable local restaurant. Many dishes are just around ten bucks, and the portions are generous. 💰 Usually, my impression of 🇪🇸 Spanish cuisine is seafood paella, octopus, and fried croquettes. This brunch experience is both surprising and satisfying, and I really enjoyed it. 🥩 📍 La Nacional 239 W 14th St, New York, NY 10011 #NewYorkTravel 🌆 #NewYorkLife 🌟
