New York Spanish Cuisine: La Nacional 🌟
📍 La Nacional Patatas Bravas We ordered this classic dish à la carte, and it was impeccable—so good that you’ll want to lick the plate clean! 🍟 🌿🌟 Croquetas Caseras These daily-made croquetas are a must-try and a signature of the house. The creamy, wild mushroom sauce inside is simply divine. 🍔 Pulpo a la Plancha 🐙 The octopus is incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. While the portion isn’t overly large, the cheese-topped potatoes underneath are a delightful bonus. 🍳 Paellas We chose the mixta (seafood + chicken) and Negra (black squid ink seafood). Even the small size comes in a huge pan, with plenty of seafood. It’s very authentic, though our Chinese taste buds found the tapas even more impressive. 🍛 Other Notes: 🌿🌟 Salad: The vegetables are very fresh. 🥬 Desserts: We tried churros and flan, which were just average. Cava: We ordered a $10 bottle of Cava (sparkling wine), which tasted like it was worth exactly $10. 🥂 Chorizo/Ham: The portions for these are quite small. Since we had a large group, we skipped them, but if you’re into Spanish cured meats, definitely give them a try. 🍖 #RestaurantRecommendation #SpanishCuisine 🌿🌟
