New York Star Gazing | Daniel 🌟

Today, I went for my second visit to Daniel, and I have to say that the consecutive loss of stars is not at all undeserved. I wonder when they'll take away the last one. 🌺 After dining at dozens of Michelin restaurants, this is only the second time I've been left speechless by how bad it was... My first visit was during COVID, and we thought pandemic restrictions might have limited their performance, so we decided to give them another chance. This time, I'm completely done and won't be coming back. 🎢 It's not like there weren't any good points. The service was top-notch, meticulous and considerate, making you feel welcomed without being overwhelming. I was pregnant and celebrating my birthday, and they even gifted us a dessert🎂 and a napkin as a parting gift. It was really thoughtful. 🏙️ If I had to find any highlights in the food, it would be the cocktails. The few cocktails and mocktails we ordered were all delicious. But when it comes to the dishes, there really wasn't a single standout. 🌸 Some were overly salty, some bland, and some left me confused about what the dish was trying to express. As a pregnant woman with heightened taste sensitivity, I actually made a face of discomfort with a few dishes and had to drink lots of water. The desserts were a bit better than the previous courses; after all, French desserts are traditionally a strong point. 🍃 To sum it all up in two words: Avoid!💣 #NewYorkMichelin 🌟 #NewYorkMichelinOneStar
