New York started the year stunning omakase

Went back for a second time to this omakase with friends—every dish is exquisitely presented, perfect for photos! They’re currently running a “second person half-price” promotion, and from February 13th to 15th, they’re even giving away sea urchin (see photo 14)! The ingredients are fresh and abundant—if you’re a fan of sea urchin, wagyu, or tuna, you definitely shouldn’t miss this place 😋 (They even offer explanations in Chinese, which is such a plus! 🤣) 👉 The standout has to be the Shinpi Special! Thick-cut scallop, crab meat, and toro, all layered on crispy toast—one bite is pure satisfaction 🥹🥹 👉 Their signature Gold Leaf Tuna Roe Sushi uses otoro (fatty tuna belly). The moment they dust on the gold leaf, the presentation feels so special—the owner even wished us prosperity for the new year! 👉 As a die-hard sea urchin lover, these were my top picks: sweet sea urchin with roe and oyster, sea urchin with foie gras and wagyu, ultra-thick sea urchin sushi, and sea urchin bibimbap. Their sea urchin is top-notch 👍—creamy, tender, and sweet! 👉 A special mention for the cod sushi too!! (If I’m not mistaken 🤣) It has a fresh, clean flavor, and with a squeeze of lime, it’s like a breath of fresh sea air ☺️ There’s also chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and soba noodles, and after the meal, they served double-skin milk pudding—us Cantonese folks were thrilled 😄 Everything else was fantastic too, and since it’s the new year, the restaurant even gifted us some sake!
