Jin Ramen Upper West Side ๐10024 ๐๐๐๐ Recommended by the Michelin Guide, this ramen shop has a really nice ambiance. I ordered the ๐Volcano Tonkotsu Ramen with four chili peppers๐ฐ21, but it was not spicy at all. The noodles arrived quickly and the portion was pretty generous. I added some ๐ฅฌlettuce for an extra $2, which made it quite a good value for money. Personally, I thought the broth was just okay, not very flavorful. Maybe because I ordered the spiciest version, it overpowered the taste of the soup. I also ordered Karaage chicken nuggets as a side, but they came lukewarm and a bit cold, which I didn't like. ๐ TabeTomo East Village ๐10009 ๐๐๐โญ The restaurant is quite spacious, but the menu is very limited โ just tsukemen (dipping noodles) or regular ramen. Thoughtfully, the menu explains how to enjoy Tsukemen Japanese dipping noodles. I went for the tsukemen๐ฐ23, and both the noodles and the meat were really huge portions! At first, it was delicious and very fragrant, but later on, it became way too salty and the soup was too murky. By the end, it was just too greasy. #New York ๐ฝ๐
